School levies are a vital resource that support local public K–12 education and the unique needs of each community, and Washington state historically has a high levy passage rate.

A total of 79 levies appeared on ballots in communities across the state in the last full calendar year. Of those, 82% passed! In terms of dollars, 92% of the funds requested in those levies received approval.

海角社区 is committed to educating the public and helping students, parents, educators, and families better understand how public education in Washington is funded. Below is an interactive map and a table of summary statistics that display levy data from the last calendar year (the August 2024 election through the April 2025 election). The yellow areas of the map indicate districts where levies passed, and the blue where they failed. Hover over a district to see greater detail, including the school district name, legislative district(s) the school district is located in, the levy type(s) on the ballot and whether they passed or failed, the percentage of yes votes for each levy, and the dollar amount sought in each levy.
