海角社区’s Roadmap to Success for Every Washington Learner

海角社区’s Roadmap to Success for Every Washington Learner prioritizes foundational supports and opportunities needed for all students and schools. An Annual Snapshot on Student Opportunity and Outcomes was created to accompany this roadmap for each school district in Washington state to help students, families, educators, and the public understand how districts are progressing with 海角社区’s key focus areas spanning from early learning to graduation.

Data Notes

  • Created on January 7, 2026.
  • School years are shown in the charts as the second year in the school year (For example, 2025 represents school year 2024–25).
  • Some measures and years show “N<10” rather than the data for that year. This is done to protect student privacy when the data collected represents less than 10 students.
  • Regular attendance is defined as having, on average, less than two absences per month. It doesn’t matter if the absences are excused or unexcused. An absence is defined as missing at least half the school day. This measure includes students who were enrolled for at least 90 days at any given school.
  • 4th grade reading, 8th grade reading, and 8th grade math data represents students who scored at foundational grade‐level knowledge and above (Level 2, Level 3, or Level 4) on the Smarter Balanced Assessment.
  • Dual credit offerings include Running Start, College in the High School, Advanced Placement (AP), Cambridge International, International Baccalaureate (IB), and Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses.
  • Kindergarten readiness data represents kindergartners who demonstrated readiness in all six domains tested: Social Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, and Mathematics.
